PMP is the Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate provided by the project management institute (PMI),USA and is the most recognized certificate in the field of project management. As a PMP, you are equipped to communicate and understand the global language of project management.
It enhances your credibility as a professional. Organizations prefer to employ PMP certified professionals in an attempt to increase the success rates of their project deliveries. iProxel’s 5D model has been designed and formulated to ensure that the professionals pursuing PMP certification are able to crack the exam in the first attempt. Meet the Eligibility Criteria :
PMI requires you to meet the minimum standards in both domain and experience to become a PMP
Eligibility criteria:
- Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or the global equivalent)
- 7,500 hours of project management experience
- 35 hours of project management education
OR - Four-year degree
- 4,500 hours leading and directing projects
- 35 hours of project management education
Please Note: If you do not meet the above eligibility criteria to pursue the PMP exam, you can consider CAPM, Certified Associate in Project Management, which is also a well recognized project management certificate from PMI.
Fill in the online application form :
The application form requires you to fill in your contact details, education attained, domain experience and domain education. iProxel Consulting will assist and guide you in application form completion
Please Note: Once you open an application form, it will remain active only for 90 days after which it will close.
Application Review:
PMI, after receiving your application, shall review your credentials and the information provided by you in the application form to check whether it conforms to the guidelines stated in the certification handbook. The review generally takes 5-10 days post which you will get a confirmation mail to make the payment for the exam or otherwise.
Prepare for the Exam :
There would be 200 multiple choice questions in the exam from five major project management process groups: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling and Closure encompassing a total of 47 process areas. iProXel Consulting will gear you up systematically using its 5D model and thoroughly prepare you for the exam. It will also provide you with a realistic online exam taking environment to help you manage your exam time effectively
Taking the Exam:
The duration of the exam would be 4 hours to complete the 200 questions. The computer-based test will occur at a Prometric testing site in your location. The 4 hours that you spend in taking the exam will make all the difference.
